1) Advise your administrative contact that you are transferring the domain name, and verify that your public administrative contact information is valid. A great way to check is to put your domain in to https://gwhois.org/ and ensure that the administrative email is an email you can recieve mail at.
NOTE: If you have domain privacy enabled it is imperative that you disable it for the transfer to occur.
2) Unlock your domain name.
3) Obtain the EPP or authorization code from the losing registrar.
4) Initiate the domain transfer.
5) An authorization email will be sent to the public administrative email contact. Please click on the accept link.
6) Once the transfer is complete it will appear in your account as an active domain.
Please note that transferring your domain does not update your namservers, the nameservers should be updated before the transfer is initiated, or after the transfer is completed.
